Tony Benjamin
Co-Founder/CEO
Tony grew up in Washington playing sports and enjoying every minute of it. When he wrote his first basic program in high school in the 80’s he knew he found a new interest. Attending BYU and Weber St. University, receiving his degree in computer science cemented his love for all things technological.
In 1996, after graduating, he worked for Novell for a short period of time before the entrepreneur bug took him to some smaller companies. He was a significant contributor to the success of PHAST becoming the leading manufacturer of high-end home automation equipment and STSN (now iBAHN) becoming the worldwide leader in broadband services for business travelers serving millions of customer in thousands of hotels. Tony was an integral part of the software team in both companies.
In 2002 Tony joined Wasatch Energy in Farmington, UT where he wore many hats, including creating the system that helped Wasatch Energy grow and eventually be acquired by BP in 2007. He was instrumental in the smooth transition between the two companies. He also gained significant knowledge and experience supporting desktops, servers and networks in the 11 years at both companies.
In 2013 he started TeK Computing Solutions with his business partner, Kalob Lesh, with the goal to provide the best IT support/service available. TeK Computing Solutions provides a full array of IT services to small businesses, allowing them to focus on their core competencies, with technology being a partner not a problem.
