TeK Computing Solutions provides optional SMS notifications related to managed IT services.
These SMS messages are sent only to customers who have requested enrollment and have provided explicit verbal consent to receive operational IT monitoring alerts from TeK Computing Solutions.
Enrollment is completed manually by TeK Computing Solutions after obtaining the customer’s explicit verbal consent. This website describes the SMS notification program and enrollment process. There is no online enrollment form. Customers are enrolled manually only after consent has been obtained by a TeK Computing Solutions representative.
Enrollment Process
Enrollment in the TeK Computing Solutions SMS Alert Program is completed manually.
To enroll:
- Contact TeK Computing Solutions and request enrollment in SMS monitoring alerts.
- A TeK Computing Solutions representative explains:
- What types of messages will be sent
- That message frequency varies depending on monitored IT events
- That message and data rates may apply
- How to obtain assistance by replying HELP
- How to opt out at any time by replying STOP
- The Privacy Policy
- The SMS Terms & Conditions
- The customer provides explicit verbal consent to receive SMS notifications.
- After consent is obtained, the customer’s mobile number is manually added to the SMS notification system.
- A confirmation SMS message is sent confirming enrollment.
- The customer’s consent is documented before any SMS messages are sent.
Consent
Customers are never automatically enrolled.
SMS notifications are sent ONLY after a customer has:
- Requested enrollment
- Received an explanation of the SMS Alert Program
- Provided explicit verbal consent
Customer consent is documented before a mobile number is added to the notification system.
